About Paal 234
Paal 234 is located on Texel, one of the islands situated amidst the beautiful World Heritage Wadden Sea, and known for its stunning beaches, dunes, and picturesque villages.
Paal 234 on Texel is located in the rural area just below De Koog and is within walking or cycling distance of the forest, dunes, and the beach. Texel is the first of the Wadden Sea Islands.

We like to ensure our guests have all the necessities, so our kitchen comes fully equipped. A Quooker, spacious fridge with freezer, convection oven/microwave, Nespresso with milk frother, filter coffee machine, dishwasher, and of course all the essentials for cooking. There is also a washing/drying machine.

The master bedroom has a comfortable box spring bed for a good and well-deserved night’s sleep, and there is also a bathtub to get you fully relaxed.

The 2nd bedroom also has a double box spring bed, which can be separated into two single beds. There is also a sleeping chair/sofa bed for an extra person to sleep comfortably.

In addition to the bathtub in the master bedroom, we have a rain shower with a view of the garden and meadow in our charming bathroom. Downstairs, there is another rain shower if you want to rinse off the beach sand.

The Sun
Due to its southern location: when the sun is shining, you can enjoy it all day long. …In the morning, sit in the sun on the terrace, waking up with fresh coffee or tea. …In the evening, enjoy a seat in the front garden until the sun sets.
Lots of privacy
Just a stone's throw away from De Koog, the detached house Paal 234 is surrounded by a spacious garden and equipped with a handy canopy in case the weather turns sour. Paal 234 is not on a bungalow / holiday park.
Sleepzzzzzz
Both bedrooms have box spring beds and comfortable mattresses. Four-season duvets are provided on the beds. We have pillows of your choice, so you always sleep comfortably. Are you five people? We have an extra single sleeping armchair in one of the rooms. Bed linen and towels are included in the price. A baby cot & chair is available on request.
Coffee anyone?
We have a Nespresso and a filter coffee machine, so you can choose your preferred coffee. A milk frother for a full “skuumkoppe” on your cappuccino and a Quooker for a cup or pot of tea.
Cooking and such..
Cook as you like in the outdoor or indoor kitchen. Outside, there is a BBQ with everything you need, and inside you’ll find a kitchen that is fully equipped for home cooking; convection oven, microwave, toaster, 4-burner induction hob, a blender for delicious smoothies, fridge with freezer, a dishwasher…
Hi-Speed
Restless from all the tranquillity? Watching Netflix in bed? Or taking an online yoga class? There is fiber optic wifi throughout the house.
Parking
You’ll find parking space for two cars at Paal 234. Unfortunately, there is no charging station yet, but this will be there definitely in the future!

Simply book online using the links above. If you prefer personal contact or have any special requests, send us an email, and we will contact you as soon as possible. Reservations can be made per week during high season and per long weekend or midweek during the off-season (and of course, also per week).
Space
Paal 234 is for 4 people, possibly for 5. There is unfortunately no space for more than 5 people. Is there anything you would like to discuss? Please feel free to contact us.
Pets
We love dogs. Walking your dog is a joy for both owner and dog on Texel, so we are happy to welcome one dog. We are sure that you, as a dog owner, will understand that we do charge some additional cleaning costs if you decide to bring a pet.

We like to keep Paal 234 clean and fresh. Please respect that smoking is not allowed inside.
Plenty to do:
Relaxing is great, but there’s no need to get bored. The forest, dunes, and beach, children’s swimming paradise Caluna, Ecomare, Shipwreck and Beachcombing Museum Flora, are all just a stone’s throw away. You can go horseback riding at one of the nearby riding stables (also suitable for beginners) or take a walk to De Koog, with its numerous cosy terraces and restaurants. Den Burg (the shopping heart of Texel) is just a few kilometers away. Furthermore, you can go mudflat hiking, take a boat trip to Vlieland, or go on a seal watching tour (highly recommended!). Visit one of the other beautiful villages of Texel, such as Oosterend, Oudeschild, or Den Hoorn. Cuddle with lambs, go karting, pick your own strawberries, and get your cheese from Wezenspyck farm.

Indoors: Underfloor heating on the ground floor, smart TV, Sonos sound, wood stove, games, washer/dryer combo.
Outdoors: Large trampoline (at your own risk).
de Koog
The cosy village of De Koog is just a few hundred meters away. Here you can find supermarkets Jumbo and Lidl, a bakery, butcher, and fishmonger. And of course, various restaurants, cafes, and nice shops.
Sun, sea, beach
The North Sea beach is just around the corner. In less than 10 minutes, you can cycle to Beachclub Bries 20 or one of the other nice beach clubs where you can also enjoy a tasty bite to eat.
